The HARE Story
While sick with Sickle Cell Anemia and connected to an IV in his Maryland home HareRx Founder Chy had just been prescribed medications by his doctor. Unable to move during these crisis, wife at work and family members living over 35 miles from his home, Chy thought (after Door-dash delivered food to him) “what if my prescriptions could be delivered to me via an app like Door-dash?, and at the same time remain loyal to my local mom-and-pop pharmacy” With this idea in mind, Chy decided to Skype his Co-Founder Emmanuel, and HareRx was born.
What began as a simple idea has evolved into a powerful business model and tool that helps connect people with their local pharmacy.
